Michelle Clausen - Director

As of January 31, 2026, Triptych has changed hands with Joy Culy selling to Michelle Clausen.

Joy and Michelle are excited to finalise this sale agreement which includes the sale of studio equipment, materials, residual product stock, product design I.P. and training course I.P. Joy’s company, Triptych Ltd has ceased trading, and the company will be wound up. Michelle’s new company name is Triptych Conservation Ltd.

Michelle lives with her family in Masterton and works fulltime in the heritage sector. She is an NZCCM associate member, has a Bachelor of Arts (History) and is also currently studying towards a Master of Preventive Conservation through Northumbria University.

Michelle plans to run Triptych as a part-time business for the next one and half years while she completes her master’s degree. She is excited to get started and will initially focus on refining a product range for the heritage sector – which will include some of the original Triptych products such as care and handling aids, conservation materials and disaster kits.
